Snowmobile Safari

Snowmobile safari is a nice alternative to Reindeer sledding at winter time. You can experience one-day mountain plateau safari or four day Levi safari over the arctic mountain plateau.

One-day snowmobile safari

We start from Reisa valley with snowmobiles into the arctic mountain plateau; we are headed to our camp at a fresh water fishing lake. After approximately 30 minutes we are there. We will try to catch arctic char on the ice and we have a nice time in the warm camp until we return to Reisa valley. This is also well suited for families with children.

The Northern Lights, also known as aurora borealis, is very strong in North Norway and most people love this experience while they are in North Norway. The air is dry and there are not city lights near, that´s why Northern Lights are more visible at the Northern Lights camp than any other places. 

Four days snowmobile safari

In four days we explore the arctic mountain plateau on snowmobiles, our trip goes from Reisa valley to the famous Levi in Finland.

Day one: We start from Reisa valley over the mountain plateau to the village Kautokeino, the home of Sami people. We will rest and fill gas to the snowmobiles before we continue to Enontekio where we stay the night at cottage.

Day two: We start towards Levi through the forest of Finland and after a while we are in Levi, where a nice cottage is waiting for us. We will explore Levi at night, those who want to go skiing or snowboarding the Levi alpine will be available.

Day three: After a short exploring of Levi we continue toward Kautokeino, where we will stay the night and fill gas. We will stay at a cottage.

Day four: We start in the morning to Reisa valley; we have a 3-hour drive. In Reisa valley we take a shower, eat and rest, before the guests who are living with Hurtigruten will be driven to Skjervøy.

We serve daily meals and drinks while on safari, and the accommodation is included and pre booked.
