Fishing activities

World-class fishing in North Norway is available for you through us. Sami Travel Guides has the famous deep-sea fishing, salmon fishing at Reisa valley and fresh water lake fishing on the arctic mountain plateau. At wintertime we have arctic ice fishing for arctic char on the mountain plateau.

Salmon fishing

We offer salmon fishing at Reisa River for small groups. Salmon fishing is very popular and licenses are often difficult to get, therefore it´s smart to order fishing in March or latest April.

Fishing season for salmon is from 1st of July to 31st of August.

Deep-sea fishing on boat

You can buy deep sea fishing experience and we´ll go Halibut fishing with boats. We have good local knowledge and can easily take you to the best fishing spots. Deep-sea fishing is available from 1st of June to 31st of August.

Fresh water lake fishing

We can take you to the mountain plateau for arctic char fishing. We will have reindeer carry all our equipment, making the hiking as easy as breathing. The arctic mountain plateau has amazing scenery. Fresh water lake fishing is available from 1st of June to 31st of August.

Arctic ice fishing

At wintertime we can take you arctic char fishing on the mountain plateau. We will use snowmobiles as transportation and we have a camp available close to the fishing lake. This is comfortable and is a fantastic experience for most people, also families with children. This activity is available from 1st of January to 31st of April.
